Products and Services
R&D members of Imagemetry have been successfully involved in many
academic and commercial image processing and computer vision projects. Results of their theoretical research have been published in prestigious international journals and conferences.
Practical applications have been always succsessfuly delivered to satisfied customers.
We learn and analyze the specific of needs of our clients, propose a solution, prepare mathematical and
computational methods solving the task, verify them in experiments, and develop a user-friendly software implementation. Some examples of our B2B and end-users projects are:

Computer Vision for Industrial Inspection and Assembly [consulting / development / research]
Custom-designed computer vision systems are being applied to specific manufacturing tasks. Using sophisticated image processing algorithms,
we mainly support the manufacturing process. One example is quality control where products are being automatically
inspected in order to find defects. Another typical example is measurement of position and orientation of details and objects to be picked up by a robot arm.

Blind Image Forensics [consulting / research]
Using only the image function and the fact that forgeries can bring into the
image specific statistical changes, we are developing sophisticated mathematical and computational
models and methods to detect the traces of forgery in digital images in a blind way (without using digital watermarks, signature or any
prior information about the image or its source).

Automatic intraoral x-ray images analysis [B2B]
This R&D project brings a decision support instrument for dental professionals. The project allows intraoral images of
patients being effectively inspected in detail using diagnosis assistance tools including automatic carries detection
and patient's x-ray images series analysis. This allows an early detection of the disease and its prompt treatment.

Facial Expressions Recognition [R&D]
In this project we proposed a fully automatic, user-independent and real-time facial expression recognition system. The developed system
is based on three main steps: face detection and localization, feature extraction and classification.

People Counting [B2B]
Accurately counting retail traffic or visitor traffic is the only way marketing professionals can make proper strategic
decisions. We have developed for our customer a precise people counting algorithm based on his especial requirements.

Periodic Properties of Interpolation [research]
This is a basic research project related to image forensics. Despite the importance, massive usage and long history of interpolation, there exist only a few works concerned with the specific and detectable
statistical changes brought into the signal by this process. In this research we analytically describe specific periodic properties present in the covariance structure of interpolated signals.
Furthermore, we propose a blind, efficient and automatic method capable of detecting the traces of resampling and interpolation.

Road Detection and Tracking [B2B]
A real-time subsystem for our client has been successfully developed to identify roads and to enable a robot to drive along them. Our task in this
larger project was to locate the road surface and its boundaries. In order to reduce the possibility of misclassifying, we have also implemented an extra adaptive road feature acquisition method.
